About the Role:
The Engagement and Investor Relations Officer is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the firms communication strategy fostering investor relationships and supporting the internal functions of portfolio companies. This position will drive the firms visibility enhance investor engagement and contribute significantly to fundraising efforts. The officer will ensure consistent and transparent reporting and actively manage digital presence event coordination and networkbuilding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications and Branding
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy to elevate the firms brand.
- Manage and curate the firms social media presence sharing industry insights portfolio updates and impact stories.
- Assist portfolio companies in shaping their marketing strategies focusing on audience engagement and brand development.
- Create PR materials such as press releases blog posts newsletters and social media content.
- Collaborate with external PR agencies to enhance media coverage and visibility.
Investor Relations
- Serve as the primary liaison between the firm and investors ensuring consistent and transparent communication.
- Prepare and present reports summarizing portfolio performance financial updates and impact achievements.
- Coordinate investor meetings and events aligning messaging and presentation materials with the investment team.
- Provide timely updates to investors on key milestones fostering engagement and trust.

- Portfolio Management
- Act as the main contact for portfolio companies ensuring effective communication and alignment with strategic goals.
- Regularly assess portfolio performance analyzing data to guide decisionmaking.
- Collect consolidate and analyze information from portfolio companies to prepare investor reports.
Event Coordination and Reporting
- Organize events and build networks to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Create compelling presentations and reports to communicate the firms achievements and impact.
Required Expertise:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Communications Business Marketing Finance or related fields (LUMS NUST preferred).
- Experience: 24 years in investor relations communications or marketing roles within venture capital private equity or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in digital marketing and social media management.
- Analytical skills for data assessment and performance evaluation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Proven relationshipbuilding abilities particularly with investors and portfolio companies.
- Organizational and project management skills with event coordination experience.
- Graphic design proficiency (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
