The Opportunity
Were seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join one of our esteemed clients in their Kansas City MO office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to highstakes litigation while counseling clients on a full range of employment law issues. Youll work alongside a dedicated team in a firm that values diversity equity and inclusion.
What Youll Do
Lead with Purpose: Manage employment litigation cases including depositions and case oversight.
Analyze and Innovate: Develop and articulate legal strategies while counseling clients on a range of employment law matters.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with clients and crossfunctional teams to address complex legal issues.
Deliver Excellence: Provide exceptional client service while navigating employment law challenges.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 47 years of significant litigation experience including employment cases. Experience handling depositions and running cases with oversight is required. Counseling clients on employment law issues is a plus.
Education: JD with excellent academic credentials.
Bar Admission: Active Missouri bar license or willingness to obtain one promptly.
Skills: Exceptional judgment superior interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Mindset: Proactive entrepreneurial and committed to innovation community engagement and diversity.
Your Skillset
Litigation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage employment litigation cases including depositions and strategy development.
Counseling Skills: Experience providing clients with guidance on employment law matters is a strong advantage.
Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to handle highstakes cases with a focus on achieving client goals.
