  • Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the overall business goals ensuring technology investments support longterm growth.
  • Oversee all IT systems installation configuration and maintenance including property management systems (PMS) pointofsale (POS) systems guest WiFi telecommunications and backoffice systems.
  • Ensure that the networks and data are protected from cyber threats through the implementation of robust security measures including firewalls encryption and regular audits.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers negotiating contracts and ensuring timely support for software hardware and network services.
  • Lead and manage IT projects including system upgrades new technology rollouts and infrastructure improvements.
  • Recruit train and supervise IT staff ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to support the hotels technology needs.
  • Ensure that technology enhances the guest experience providing seamless services such as highspeed internet inroom entertainment and efficient booking and checkin/checkout processes.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget ensuring costeffective technology solutions and resource allocation.
  • Keep uptodate with the latest trends in hotel technology and recommend innovations that can improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g. PMP ITIL) are a plus.
  • Minimum 57 years of IT management experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including networking cybersecurity server management and software applications relevant to the hotel industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams vendors and complex projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of hotel staff and guests.
