Job Description
We are working with a tech company and as part of their continued growth NodeFlair has been engaged to search for Senior Backend Developer to join their Singapore team.
The package is competitive at SGD 150k200k / year (excluding bonus).
We are seeking an experienced backend developer to design develop and maintain services using GO and TypeScript. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing scalable APIs and microservices as well as managing Postgres and MongoDB for efficient data storage. You will ensure code quality through continuous maintenance refactoring and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Backend Development: Design and develop backend services using GO and TypeScript implementing scalable APIs and microservices.
- Database Management: Design and optimize schemas queries and indexing strategies for Postgres and MongoDB to resolve performance issues and ensure data integrity.
- Code Quality & Maintenance: Write maintain and optimize highquality code improving performance scalability and reliability.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers provide guidance conduct thorough code reviews and collaborate with teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Blockchain (Preferred): Utilize blockchain technology for decentralized applications or smart contracts and stay updated on developments in the field.
- OpenSource SDKs (Preferred): Experience with creating and maintaining opensource TypeScript SDKs contributing to projects and engaging with the community.
- Cloud & Containerization (Advantageous): Experience with AWS (EC2 S3 RDS) Docker and Kubernetes for enhanced system scalability and deployment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of backend development experience specializing in GO and TypeScript.
- Expertise in database management and performance optimization with Postgres and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in blockchain technology and/or Rust is a plus.
- Experience creating and maintaining opensource TypeScript SDKs is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS Docker and Kubernetes for cloud services and containerization is advantageous.
- Strong problemsolving communication and collaboration skills with a proven track record in delivering scalable highquality solutions.
