PRI is seeking a qualified Traffic Management Quality Assurance Evaluator for a potential Base Logistics Services Contract. This position focuses on evaluating and improving processes for the transportation of personnel equipment and cargo. It ensures compliance with regulations optimizes transportation planning and enhances shipment tracking and accountability.
The role supports leadership by providing assessments of operational readiness and compliance with Air Force traffic management standards while fostering a culture of excellence and responsibility.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Transportation Process Oversight:
- Evaluate transportation plans and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant movement of personnel cargo and equipment.
- Assess and oversee both military and commercial transportation arrangements for accuracy efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance and Standards:
- Review and validate traffic management procedures locally developed forms and publications for adherence to Air Force standards.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) transportation policies directives and regulations.
- Shipment Tracking and Documentation:
- Verify accurate documentation and tracking of shipments using Air Force and commercial transportation systems.
- Analyze shipment data to identify trends deficiencies or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Inspections and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of traffic management operations using checklists and Air Force instructions.
- Perform quality verification special inspections and safety inspections for transportation activities.
- Training and Operational Support:
- Provide training and guidance to personnel to address deficiencies in traffic management processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for traffic management tasks assisting with operational improvements and compliance issues.
- Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct research analyze data trends and prepare reports to measure and improve transportation efficiency.
- Enter inspection and evaluation findings into designated QA databases and recommend actionable solutions.
- Program Management:
- Oversee selfinspection programs and manage inspection tracking databases for traffic management operations.
- Monitor contract performance objectives related to traffic management and ensure compliance with service delivery summaries.
- Safety and Incident Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards in transportation operations and promptly report incidents or hazardous conditions.
- Coordinate with leadership to address safety concerns and implement corrective measures.
Requirements
- Mandatory:
- Extensive experience in Air Force traffic management operations including cargo shipment passenger transportation and regulatory compliance.
- Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in Air Force BaseLevel Support Applications and traffic management systems.
- Valid state driver s license.
- Preferred:
- 15 years of experience in Air Force Traffic Management operations.
- Completion of advanced training in Traffic Management or related fields.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of DoD and Air Force transportation policies and standards.
- Analytical skills for evaluating shipment data and transportation processes.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using logistics and transportation software systems for planning and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking standing and lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Maintain a high level of mental alertness and situational awareness in operational environments.
