PRI is seeking a qualified Materiel Management Quality Assurance Evaluator for a potential Base Logistics Services Contract. The primary purpose of this position is to assess the units ability to manage and distribute supplies and equipment effectively. The role ensures standardized compliant and efficient materiel management processes fosters operational excellence and enhances readiness by maintaining accountability and accurate inventories.
Unless otherwise stated all tasks are to be performed in compliance with Air Force guidelines and contractual agreements.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process Evaluation and Oversight:
- Assess the effectiveness of materiel management procedures including inventory control distribution and accountability.
- Analyze deficiencies identify root causes and recommend corrective actions for contract or program discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with directives technical orders and Air Force instructions for all materiel processes.
- Inventory and Accountability:
- Manage and evaluate inventory processes to ensure accurate tracking of supplies and equipment.
- Conduct property inventories periodically to meet contractual and operational requirements.
- Provide recommendations to address discrepancies in inventory data.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Review and validate locally developed instructions publications and checklists for accuracy and necessity.
- Ensure proper documentation of materiel transactions using Air Force supply systems and databases.
- Conduct safety and procedural inspections to maintain operational integrity.
- Training and Guidance:
- Provide targeted training to personnel to address deficiencies and ensure adherence to materiel management standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert in supply chain management practices providing mentorship to personnel.
- Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze trends in supply management and generate performance reports for leadership.
- Enter observations inspections and evaluations into designated QA systems and databases.
- Operational Readiness:
- Conduct periodic inspections of supply warehouses and distribution centers.
- Oversee the units selfinspection program and related tracking systems.
- Safety and Incident Management:
- Monitor adherence to safety protocols and report hazardous situations promptly.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations related to supply management and distribution.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Participate in Quality Assurance meetings with senior leadership and provide insights into materiel management operations.
- Liaise with various work centers to resolve procedural issues and optimize processes.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Mandatory:
- Extensive experience in Air Force Materiel Management operations including inventory control supply chain management and equipment accountability.
- Current Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in Air Force BaseLevel Support Applications and supply databases.
- Valid state driver s license.
- Preferred:
- 15 years of Air Force Materiel Management experience.
- Completion of Materiel Managementrelated technical training courses.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Air Force supply management practices and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using logistics systems and software for data analysis and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking standing lifting up to 35 pounds and operating in warehouse environments.
- Must maintain situational awareness and mental alertness at all times.
