Our client is an iconic Nigerian Fashion Design brand specializing in premium African apparel for the global elite class.
The Company seeks to hire a seasoned resourceful Operations Head/COO to oversee and coordinate its daily operations in Nigeria.
Job Objective: The Head of Operations will ensure the seamless execution of operations from production and supply chain management to customer service and organizational efficiency.
This role requires a dynamic detailoriented leader with extensive experience in luxury fashion operational strategy and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the company s strategic vision.
Oversee the implementation of business objectives ensuring alignment with brand ethos and growth goals.
Identify and address operational challenges driving solutions that enhance efficiency and profitability.
Operations Management:
Streamline endtoend production processes ensuring timely delivery of bespoke pieces while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Oversee inventory supply chain logistics and vendor relationships to guarantee a seamless and sustainable flow of materials.
Develop and implement scalable operational systems and procedures.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead mentor and manage crossfunctional teams including production design logistics and customer service.
Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and excellence.
Ensure continuous staff development and training to maintain expertise in luxury fashion standards.
Financial Oversight:
Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets forecasts and operational costs.
Monitor KPIs to assess operational efficiency and drive costeffective solutions.
Identify growth opportunities while managing risks effectively.
Customer Experience:
Oversee customer service operations to ensure a superior bespoke client experience.
Implement innovative solutions to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Ensure consistent alignment between client expectations and service delivery.
Innovation and Technology:
Drive innovation within operations by adopting emerging technologies and best practices in the fashion industry.
Implement digital tools to optimize production tracking customer communication and supply chain visibility.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Fashion Management or a related field (MBA preferred)
8 years in senior operations roles preferably in the luxury or bespoke fashion industry.
Strong understanding of the luxury fashion market bespoke production processes and customer service excellence.
Proven experience in leading and motivating highperforming teams.
Exceptional problemsolving abilities with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency in operations software ERP systems and digital tools for supply chain and production management.
