Job Description

Operations Manager (Blow Molding) CR090524 Kansas City MO

Pay: $base Benefits

Industry: Extrusion Blow Molding

Location: based near Kansas City MO region.

Schedule: Fulltime / MF / First Shift

We have a wellestablished company near the Kansas City MO region seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the timely production of highquality products that consistently surpass customer expectations. The Plant Manager will be crucial in offering strategic oversight and dynamic leadership to enhance plant operations drive performance toward operational goals and foster a culture of effective communication and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize all aspects of the plastic blow molding operations ensuring efficient production processes and highquality output.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance plant productivity reduce downtime and maintain safety standards.

Lead mentor and develop a team of supervisors and operators fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to improve team skills and knowledge.

Ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards and customer specifications.

Implement and monitor quality control procedures to identify and address any production issues.

Develop and execute operational plans and strategies to meet production targets and business goals.

Analyze production data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Oversee routine maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Monitor and manage the plant budget including labor materials and overhead costs.

Identify and implement costsaving measures without compromising product quality or safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a management level role with a focus on plastic blow molding operations.

Must have a handson mentality with strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving operational improvements.

Excellent problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.

Ability to lift 50 lbs stand for long durations of time and perform other physical tasks as required.
