Job Description:

AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the continuous delivery and operation of cloudbased applications hosted on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Work closely with development operations and QA teams to streamline the software delivery process automate infrastructure provisioning and ensure the reliability scalability and security of our AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design implement and manage infrastructure using IaC principles and tools such as AWS CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK. Create reusable templates and modules to provision AWS resources efficiently and consistently.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating build test and deployment processes. Utilize AWS services like AWS CodePipeline AWS CodeBuild and AWS Code Deploy to enable automated software delivery.

Configuration Management: Manage configuration drift and ensure consistency across environments using tools like AWS Systems Manager (SSM) Puppet Chef or Ansible. Automate configuration tasks and enforce desired state configurations.

Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to monitor the health performance and security of AWS infrastructure and applications. Utilize AWS CloudWatch AWS CloudTrail and thirdparty monitoring tools to collect and analyze metrics logs and events.

Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance controls to protect AWS environments and data. Configure AWS security services such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) AWS WAF AWS Firewall Manager and AWS Config. Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery using AWS services such as Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling Amazon Route 53 AWS Lambda Amazon S3 and AWS Backup. Create backup and recovery strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.

Collaboration: Work closely with development operations and QA teams to understand requirements identify automation opportunities and implement solutions that improve efficiency and reliability. Foster a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python Shell or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet Chef Ansible or AWS Systems Manager (SSM).
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance controls for cloud environments.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified Developer).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker Kubernetes and Amazon ECS.

• Knowledge of serverless computing concepts and experience with AWS Lambda.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch AWS CloudTrail ELK Stack or Splunk.

• Understanding of networking concepts and experience with AWS networking services such as Amazon VPC AWS Direct Connect and AWS Transit Gateway.
