Chemist Job Description
Position: Chemist
Location: Jalgaon Maharashtra
Key Responsibilities:
- Chemical Analysis & Documentation: Conduct precise chemical analysis and titration maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor rigorous quality testing protocols to ensure product consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Operational Oversight: Lead and manage electroplating operations during assigned shifts ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with company standards and ISO procedures.
- Manpower Management: Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians and operators providing direction and support to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electroplating processes are performed in accordance with safety regulations particularly in the handling and management of chemicals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the plating department contributing to the enhancement of quality systems and operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: A diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or a Bachelors degree in Chemistry.
- Industry Experience: 25 years of handson experience in electroplating with a strong foundation in plating processes and quality management.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team with strong organizational skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in chemical analysis and titration with a thorough understanding of ISO procedures and quality assurance practices.
- Work Ethic: Highly selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a rotational shift environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
