The successful candidate will possess a deep knowledge of scaleup and process chemistry skills for the development of safe and scalable synthetic routes with early and latephase development experience and delivering drug substances under tight timelines.

• Purify organic compounds using a variety of techniques including chromatography extraction distillation crystallization trituration etc. 4
• Synthesize key intermediates and drug substances from gram to kilogram scale. 2

Utilizes and operates various complex laboratory machines and equipment.

• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance of the instruments and equipment.
• Identify the cause of common problems and mistakes and make necessary repairs.

Documents and analyzes results produces detailed summaries and reports.

• Write papers and abstracts detailing research efforts and results for publication in peerreviewed journals.
