Position Description
WLAN SW test engineer to handle Fermion IoT controller feature testing
35 years of handson system software test & automation experience
Proven knowledge on WLAN MAC/PHY protocols especially IEEE 802.11 11ac/ax/be specs and WFA WiFi specifications (AP STA P2P WPS WFD coexistence etc.)
Good track record of doing IEEE802.11/WiFi protocol stack testing in embedded environment on wireless semiconductor chips
Handson experience in bringing up WLAN RF cables OTA test topologies design test plans from the HLDRs and go through review process workflows. Knowledge on the usage of traffic tools like iperf Chariot & other tools like Spectrum Analyzer Signal Generator power tools etc. for RF tests and measurements
Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP)
Hands on experience in any of the scripting languages: C/PERL/PYTHON/TCL shell scripting and test framework development.
Excellent and proven understanding of software test methodologies and quality process
Good understanding of software test and debug techniques on embedded platforms. Strong Debugging skills.
Experience of working with software engineering tools such as code management systems and bug tracking tools
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
M.Tech / M.E / B.Tech / B.E degree in Computer Science Electronics or Communications
