Job Description
Must have Strong knowledge of automation technologies and trends in the industry.
Have exposure to North American Standards.
Execute and lead designs of complex automated & precision mechanical systems meeting performance requirements and customer expectations.
Able to provide proven bespoke design solutions for custom built automated machines that have no previous or standard solutions existing.
Sound experience in designing of mechanical systems such as pneumatics mechanical drive systems kinematic principles and or mechanisms sensors motors servo applications considering efficiency and design for cost and manufacturability.
Should have worked in an industry automation environment in collaboration with process electrical engineering & control system engineering teams integrating the machines in an automation system.
Working knowledge in designing material handling systems and robotic integrated systems like conveyors chutes AGV / AMR end of arm tooling / complex grippers used in food and life sciences industry automation.
Sound Knowledge in assembly automation and Testing of automation systems
Cross functional Knowledge in machine assembly Testing & Troubleshooting in automation.
Having exposure to an APQP & PFMEA environment. Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams in optimizing production processes. High knowledge in material selection and manufacturing processes.
Ensure all Mechanical systems designed complying with relevant industry standards regulations and safety requirements. (Exposure to GAMP 5 is of great advantage)
Highly Proficient in SolidWorks & PDM is must along with Autodesk Inventor is highly preferable.
Able to demonstrate designs and solutions effectively and confidently to customers with customer centric approach and mindset
