Job Description
Position Title: SAP Business Objects Developer
Location: Owings Mills MD (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months
Summary: Candidate will be an experienced Business Objects Developer using SAP BO XIR2/XIR3 Desktop Intelligence Application. In this role the candidate will provide production and project support for the Investment Teams by creating new or modifying existing Business Objects Reports non objects based developed reports using accounting system data.
Overview: This role is for Business Objects Developer using SAP BO XIR2/XIR3 Desktop Intelligence Application as well as Power Bi Desktop/Report Builder. In this role the candidate will provide production and project support for the Investment Teams by creating new or modifying existing. The candidate will review and interpret system requirements and business processes as well as code test debug and implement software solutions.
Candidate will also:
- Automate tasks (unit smoke and endtoend testing)
- Develop in Business Objects using SQL (sproc) and/ or PERL
- Work directly with Business Analyst
- Be accountable for your work and sometimes others provide process and standards advice in your area of specialization
- Work independently
- Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Actively helping team members/make suggestions to improve practices.
Business Knowledge
- Able to work directly with business analysts
- Decisions show a focus on current and future business priorities together with fiscal responsibility
- Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions Requirements
- Programs proficiently in several languages and is comfortable switching between them (highly proficient in either SQL or Sproc) Sybase Unix
- Some knowledge of PERL Autosys DB2
- Shows dedication to quality by implementing suitable software using unit/integration and acceptance testing at the time of feature development
- Debugs large components with limited assistance and assists other engineers
Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Candidate must have their own laptop equipment will not be provided by TRP.
