DS Technologies Inc is looking for Senior Design System Engineer role for one of our premier clients.
Overview:
The client is seeking a Senior Design System Engineer to lead the evolution and implementation of a design system. This role involves close collaboration with design engineering and product teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient design system across all workflows.
Position: Senior Design System Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development of design system components including typography color and iconography.
- Write highquality modular code to create reusable UI components.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive library of presentational UI components.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure brand consistency and UX best practices.
- Provide guidance on component usage and address componentrelated issues.
- Document usage patterns and accessibility guidelines for all components.
- Manage versioning deployment and governance of the design system.
- Conduct retrospectives to continuously improve the design system.
Requirement Qualifications:
- Expertlevel frontend development skills in Angular HTML SASS and WCAG compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Angular JS Node JS or JSX.
- Advanced experience with Storybook and Figma for component management.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining custom component libraries using Web Components.
- Ability to write clean efficient CSS for responsive and visually appealing UI.
- Experience with Agile Lean UX and designthinking methodologies.
- Proficient in version control tools like Bitbucket or Git.
- Selfstarter with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
NicetoHave Qualifications:
- Broad experience with design approaches and UX patterns.
- Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams including product managers and developers.
- Proficiency in DOM manipulation with JavaScript.
