Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer/Automation Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in mechanical design and automation with experience in driving the development of assembly lines and creating individual stations and components. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NX and a deep understanding of materials and machining practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of assembly lines including the creation of individual stations and components.
- Drive the development of automation solutions ensuring the integration of design concepts into practical efficient systems.
- Utilize NX (TeamCenter/NX or ECTR NX) to design and prototype new concepts and drive design initiatives.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate design visions into actionable engineering plans.
- Apply indepth knowledge of materials and machining practices to ensure the effectiveness and durability of designs.
- Provide guidance and leadership to team members in design and automation projects.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in mechanical design and automation with a proven track record of developing assembly lines and components.
- Proficiency in NX (TeamCenter/NX or ECTR NX) for design and prototyping.
- Strong understanding of materials and machining practices.
- Ability to drive design projects from concept to completion including leading or mentoring others in design tasks.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to innovate within the scope of automation design.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other design tools and software.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
