Achieve sales targets
Plan approach to achieve allocated target monthly
Identify opportunities to sell on to new and existing clients involve the relevant internal people to secure a deal which achieves targeted returns.
Monitor monthly sales statistics within existing clients identifying reductions in sales volumes and follow up with the relevant stakeholders timeously to prevent loss of business.
Follow up on leads identified securing new business for the company.
Comply with guidelines regarding client engagement identifying key decision makers and ensuring that the companys brand remains at the forefront of their business.
Enable Resellers to gain new business by training them in sales processes and creating an awareness of product solutions.
Sell the breadth of the core Redington product offering in conjunction with the product teams into the allocated customer base.
Responsible and accountable for the proactive achievement of sales customer visits units revenue and profit targets.
2.
Maintain good customer relationships
Identify means of engaging with clients in order to build sound relationships.
Identification of new potential customers to grow and enable them.
Meet with customers regularly engaging with decision makers to establish rapport and build sound relationships.
Entertain clients by using insight of the company culture to engage positively with clients in an informal context.
3.
Oversee service delivery
Comply with order processing guidelines whilst negotiating time frames and pricing with the client.
Allocate implementation of smaller scale client solutions to Internal Account Managers guide them as required and follow up on completion.
Respond to requests by issuing quotations and organizing the logistics of the order confirming delivery with the Reseller.
Make sure that configurations on complex solutions sold are accurately captured so that the correct solution is delivered.
Follow up on the process of deliveries and collections liaising with the relevant people ensuring customers requirements are met.
4.
Operational administration
Assist Resellers with pricing and contractual information to inform their tender processes.
Check that accounts are up to date highlighting money outstanding as appropriate.
Monitor that orders are processed accurately and allocated to the correct account.
Pass credits when required ensuring accuracy of information reflected and appropriate for authorisation.
Provide forecasting input to Product Managers using knowledge of market dynamics and customer requirements to inform accurate forecasting.
Compile reports using figures drawn from the system to reflect productivity and achievement of targets.
5.
Manage selfdevelopment
Agree individual development plan annually focusing on skills gaps identified in performance discussions.
Attend training scheduled according to the development plan demonstrating skills and knowledge acquired.
Ensure that functional knowledge is relevant and continually updated.
Use initiative to research relevant information in order to keep abreast with changes and new developments in the field.
Exhibit a commitment to learning from others within the team.
