Industrial Instrumentation Sales Engineer
Reporting to:
Sales Manager
Description and Duties:
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to identify and deliver suitable technical solutions.
- Meet yearly sales budgets.
- Promote and sell Industrial Instrumentation solutions within a defined geographic area.
- Collaborate with management to prepare the annual budget.
- Maintain highlevel interactions with principals.
- Prepare and present product demonstrations to clients.
- Submit weekly call reports.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Proactively seek out new sales opportunities.
Level of Responsibility Accountability and Authority:
- Responsible for achieving significant sales activity.
- Accountable for meeting the yearly budget for Industrial Instrumentation while ensuring required gross margins.
- Authorized to provide technical solutions to enhance clients business performance.
- Empowered to sign documents within specified company limits.
- Authorized to prepare tender submissions tailored to client requirements.
Qualifications Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Technical qualification or relevant plant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in Industrial Instrumentation.
- Familiarity with Industrial Automation and experience selling related solutions.
- Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Clientdriven with a customerfocused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Mature personality with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in sales or plant operations involving:
- Level measurement
- Flow measurement
- Temperature measurement
- Pressure measurement
- Field measurement
