Our client a wellestablished sock manufacturer providing companies operating in the fashion outdoor sports uniform and medical industry with the highest quality hosiery is seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager. This is a fulltime onsite role for a National Sales Manager located in Bellville. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for business planning account management sales team management and budgeting.
What you will be accountable for:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Lead mentor and manage a sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts budgets and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service and addressing any issues promptly.
- Develop and implement sales operations to ensure effective account management.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients and support the sales team across various regions.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Sales / Marketing / Business Administration preferable
- At least 5 years experience leading and managing a sales team across various territories preferably in the textile / clothing industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales and targets and driving business growth
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
- An entrepreneurial spirit with an instinct to act on opportunities
- Detailed understanding of performance reporting and financial / budgeting processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools and platforms
- Proven experience in dealing with clients and engaging to influence sales
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Proven track record of successful sales cycle from plan to close
