Job Description
We are conducting a search to add a PHP engineer to a client project team in Long BeachCA. This is a fulltime W2 hire by the client onsite in Long Beach.
The engineer will extend and maintain an existing PHPbased Web application with several thousand users. The application is deployed on Google Cloud using Kubernetes and Microservices is written in PHP using CodeIgniter and utilizes Angular and JavaScript and some Jave Scriptlets in the browser. Client is interested in experienced developers withy excellent communication who can take feature ideas from specification to deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct rootcase analysis
- Analyze software requirements
- Resolve software issues
- Design new features services and UI components
- Code and Test new or improved features
- Assist with deployment in Google Cloud
- Provide production support
- Write code and system documentation
- Add AI and ML powered features

Skills Requirements:
- 410 years in professional fullstack web development experience Required
- 3 years of recent handson with PHP and CodeIgniter framework Required
- Excellence in web technologies HTML CSS JavaScript Angular Ajax and jQuery Required
- Experience with REST APIs building microservices as well as consuming 3rd party APIs Required
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB
- Excellent knowledge of Core Java
- DevOps experience in Google Cloud / Kubernetes
- Experience with SMTP and Mail packages
- Experience with Okta SSO or OAuth integration
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
This is a fulltime W2 hire by the client 100% onsite in Long Beach CA.
W2 pay range is between $100k to $140k based on experience and location.
Candidates need to be local from day one avialable for inperson interviews.
