Job Description

Structural Revit Specialist

Job Description

  • The client is thrilled to announce the expansion of its Nashville branch. We are searching for an experienced Revit professional that is looking for a challenging career with a growing consulting engineering business.

Locations

  • Louisville KY
  • Nashville TN

Job Responsibilities

  • To produce models/drawings interpret and use the engineers markups/sketches as well as the clients base drawings/existing drawings (if appropriate).
  • Create preliminary and detailed design models and drawings such as conceptual layouts preliminary and final design drawings and record drawings.
  • Coordinate and uphold REVIT standards among numerous participating businesses.
  • Coordinate structural project work with other disciplines.
  • Create Revit models and comprehensive drawings for constructions of many types and materials.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure that drawings are correct and completed on schedule.
  • Assist with the creation of cost estimates and other engineering and construction support activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience adopting and upholding defined drafting standards to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Associates degree and/or technical certificates in BIM/drafting.
  • BIM/drafting experience ranging from entrylevel to 5 years is required; structural modeling/drafting experience is desirable.
  • Have an excellent work ethic.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Conscientious and detailed.
  • Problemsolving skills.
  • Teachable and eager to develop professionally.
