Job Description
Job Title: IT Operations Analyst (Healthcare Applications)
Whats in it for you
As an IT Operations Analyst you will join an Agile team dedicated to building healthcare applications and implementing new features while adhering to the highest coding and development standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational triage and support for backend transactional systems and data integrations.
- Manage break/fix operational support as well as new development and enhancements with limited supervision.
- Handle all phases of the software lifecycle focusing on Java and SQL design development and performance tuning.
- Triage complex problems by analyzing systems and running SQL queries.
- Communicate incident status and resolution with impacted users.
- Analyze and define requirements for minor enhancements based on user needs.
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Document existing system logic and process flows.
- Work at the highest technical level across all phases of application systems analysis activities.
Experience:
- 10 Years of experience.
- 6 years of experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for running queries data research and production support.
- Experience with ETL processes using data hubs and Operational Data Store (ODS).
- Health plan knowledge particularly in claims operations financial reconciliation and provider networks.
- Experience with JSON CSV and EDI transaction standards.
- Experience with production operations support.
Location: Remote
Educational Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
- Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
Skills:
Mandatory Skills: Development and Production Support experience.
Good to Have Skills:
- Preferred experience in Healthrules Payor or similar healthcare payor systems.
