Human Resources Specialist
Location: Peachtree City GA
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary range: $50K $60K DOE
Job Overview: The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and supporting human resources functions within the manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing employee relations recruitment compliance and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices with specific knowledge of safety regulations within the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and industry regulations.
- Manage the recruitment process including job postings interviewing and onboarding of new employees.
- Address employee inquiries and resolve issues related to performance benefits and workplace conflicts.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws including health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to create and implement safety training programs and initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
- Facilitate employee development programs and performance reviews.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR and manufacturing safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Indepth knowledge of labor laws safety regulations and HR best practices.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Japanese / English Bilingual is a plus.
- Professional HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with safety compliance and OSHA regulations is highly desirable.
