Job Description

Job Overview:

Teknorix a leader in IT solutions and product engineering services is seeking a proactive and resultsoriented Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities expanding into new markets and forming strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the IT sector and a proven track record of building and nurturing longterm business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aimed at growing revenue and market share.
    • Identify new business opportunities including new markets growth areas trends customers partnerships and products.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development initiatives with company goals and market trends.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends competitive dynamics and customer needs in order to inform strategy.
    • Stay uptodate on industry trends and technology advancements that can influence Teknorixs growth opportunities.
  • Client Acquisition:
    • Identify and approach potential clients fostering longterm business relationships with key decisionmakers at enterprises startups and SMBs.
    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that outreach is targeted efficient and in line with the companys value proposition.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
    • Serve as a point of contact for clients understanding their needs and proposing solutions that leverage Teknorixs wide range of IT solutions and product engineering services.
  • Proposal & Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead the preparation of proposals pitches and presentations for prospective clients.
    • Negotiate terms of contracts ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and managing complex deal cycles through to close.
  • CrossDepartment Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with Teknorixs product development sales and marketing teams to refine service offerings and ensure alignment between business development efforts and client needs.
    • Provide feedback from the market to help guide product development and service offerings.
  • Sales Support & Reporting:
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop winning sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
    • Track and report on key metrics including sales pipeline growth deal closure rates and client engagement.
    • Prepare regular reports on business development activities forecasting sales and growth projections for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 57 years of experience in business development sales or a related field ideally in the IT SaaS or technology services industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating new business growing revenue and managing client relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT solutions custom software development SaaS platforms and product engineering services. Knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Sales Acumen: Skilled in proposal creation contract negotiation and deal closure. Familiarity with B2B sales cycles and experience working with enterprise clients is highly desirable.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate Teknorixs value proposition to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to deliver results.
  • CRM & Tools: Experience using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and business development software to manage pipelines and track results.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing IT or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.
