Job Description
Position: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Mode: Contract Long term
Location: 100% Remote (Reston VA)
Profile: Senior level full stack technologist with focus on frontend backend microservice development AWS infrastructure and test automation.
Process: Submit TechStack Grid > UPLOAD IMAGE as accepting interviews (and provide the remote interview/start guidelines)>.5 video session w/manager > 11.5 w/panel of team

About the Role
In this role youll develop the next generation of assessments using leading technologies. Youll work with innovative agile teams using the full stack to solve remote testing security problems.
Responsibilities of the role
Collaborate on software projects with product design and technical teams
Develop test release and maintain backend services frontend applications and AWS infrastructure
Work as a technical contributor on an Agile team
Qualifications needed for the role
BA/BS required (major in an analytical field desired)
A minimum of 5 years work related experience
Advanced experience working with Node.js AWS Typescript/Javascript NoSQL database (Dynamodb)
Advance experience in implementing serverless applications on AWS
Experience in handson development of software applications in a highly scaled environment
Experience working on Agile engineering teams
Experience in doing pair programming with fellow engineers
Some experience working in Python
Preferred skills and attributes for the role
Ability to perform in multiple roles on a team including testing and production support as well as development
Strong analytical thinking and structured problemsolving ability
Experience using libraries and frameworks where it makes sense while still understanding how each line in your codebase works
Willingness to work on QA and develop test automation scripts and participate in code reviews
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively in a crossfunctional team environment
Ethos of continuous improvement and interest in learning new things
Strong ability to understand and internalize the big picture and broader implications
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skill with the ability to work with a diverse set of colleagues across functions from different organizations disciplines etc.
Selfstarter ability to set priorities work independently and attain goals
AWS Certified (Associate or higher)
