Overview: We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our sales team. As an Sales Engineer you will play a key role in driving sales growth by providing technical expertise product demonstrations and solutions consulting to prospective customers. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs communicating the value proposition of our products and solutions and supporting the sales team throughout the sales cycle. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your technical knowledge sales acumen and customer relationship skills to drive success in a dynamic and competitive market.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Sales Support:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and technical specifications.
    • Conduct product demonstrations presentations and technical discussions with prospective customers.
    • Articulate the features benefits and value proposition of our products and solutions to address customer needs.
  2. Solution Design and Consultation:

    • Assess customer environments and business challenges to design tailored solutions using our products.
    • Develop technical proposals diagrams and documentation to illustrate proposed solutions.
    • Provide recommendations and best practices to optimize the integration and deployment of solutions.
  3. Proof of Concept (POC) and Pilots:

    • Coordinate and manage POCs and pilot projects to validate the functionality and performance of our solutions.
    • Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful POC execution and evaluation.
    • Gather feedback and insights from POCs to refine solutions and address customer requirements.
  4. Technical Expertise and Training:

    • Stay current with industry trends product developments and competitive landscape in solutions.
    • Develop deep technical knowledge of our products and maintain proficiency through training and certification.
    • Provide training and support to sales teams partners and customers on product features capabilities and benefits.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including technical decisionmakers and influencers.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers offering technical guidance and strategic insights.
    • Address technical inquiries resolve issues and facilitate communication between customers and internal teams.
  6. Sales Support and Collaboration:

    • Assist in developing sales strategies proposals and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
    • Collaborate with marketing product management and engineering teams to align sales efforts with product roadmap and market needs.
    • Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to improve product positioning and sales effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer Solutions Engineer or similar role in sales.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of infrastructure networking cloud computing and software applications.
  • Excellent presentation communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience in conducting product demonstrations POCs and technical workshops.
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple projects and thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
