The FRTB End to End Test Manager will work within the FRTB programme team and
be responsible for ensuring endtoend requirements (functional and non
functional) are tested in line with audit requirements (internal & external) to
support the FRTB Capitalisation & Reporting deliveries
The Test Manager with support from the FRTB Programme Test Manager will share
& drive the End to End Test Strategy Test Planning Preparation Execution &
Closure milestones within the end to end project and operating model testing
space. The Test Manager will coordinate the Front to Back element of testing where
change to the data sourcing impacts downstream consumers such as Front Office &
Traded Risk either relating to Regulatory Implementations Cross Asset Releases &
potentially Regulatory Impacting Change Requests.
Key responsibilities include:
Effectively manage stakeholder expectation related to Agile Focused
Functional & Business testing and build a strong relationship with
Development BAs and core testing teams.
Provide clear communication on testing schedule test dates scope
changes Functional & Business testing status etc. to the stakeholders
Drive both Functional & Business testing activity plan for and ensure all pre
requisites are met prior to test (including Resourcing and Environments)
support business users in Business testing (UAT) planning uploading test
cases in JIRA covering all aspect of requirements.
Management of Defect Triage and facilitation of quick resolution of defects
Collaborate with global component testing team/test managers in
formulating test plans test strategy test environments etc.
Drive all Functional & Business testing calls and publish status reports
Coordinate and actively support the QA Test team to enable the Programme
to meet the Quality Gate Acceptance Criteria.
Accountable for Test related Audit points
This requirement involves gaining a detailed understanding of the project
establishing a network of connections within the project across the other projects
and interdependent teams as well as with key senior stakeholders.
To be able to provide this level of service the successful candidate will be well
organised disciplined be able to work with minimal supervision have exceptional
attention to detail and able to follow tasks through to completion.
Although it is expected that the successful candidate will come from an investment
banking background and be familiar with the investment banking environment
have a basic understanding of trading products and an appreciation of front middle
and back office functions it is much more critical they are experienced in project
planning and managing project artefacts.
