Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Automotive Paint Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the formulation and production of new automotive paints working directly with our development and manufacturing teams to create highquality durable and aestically pleasing paint solutions for our automotive products.
Responsibilities:
1. Development and formulation of new automotive paint products that meet quality performance and aesthetic goals.
2. Conducting research on new paint technologies materials and application processes.
3. Overseeing the production process to ensure that the paint is produced correctly and efficiently.
4. Collaborating with the design and production teams to understand their needs and develop suitable paint solutions.
5. Performing quality control tests on paints to ensure their performance and longevity.
6. Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations in all paint formulation and production processes.
7. Providing technical support and guidance to the production team during the paint application process.
8. Liaising with suppliers and vendors to source highquality raw materials for paint production.
9. Keeping up to date with industry trends competitor products and the overall market landscape.
10. Documenting all formulation and production processes for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Chemistry Material Science Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience in paint formulation preferably in the automotive industry.
3. Strong knowledge of paint composition application processes and quality control techniques.
4. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
5. Strong project management and organizational skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Proficient in using computer software and applications related to paint formulation and production.
8. Commitment to complying with all safety and environmental regulations.
9. Ability to stay informed about industry trends and advancements in paint technology.
