Job Description
SAP ABAP Consultant with S/4 HANA Expertise We are an IT Solutions Integrator/Consulting Firm helping our clients hire the right professional for an exciting long term project. Here are a few details.
Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with S/4 HANA expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of ABAP development S/4 HANA technologies and the ability to deliver robust and scalable solutions for our SAP projects.
Key Responsibilities:
ABAP Development:
- Develop enhance and maintain custom ABAP programs reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEFW) in S/4 HANA.
- Utilize modern ABAP features like ABAP CDS (Core Data Services) AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and OData services.
- Develop enhance and maintain custom ABAP programs reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEFW) in S/4 HANA.
S/4 HANA Implementation & Support:
- Participate in endtoend S/4 HANA implementations migrations or support projects.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance in the S/4 HANA environment.
- Leverage tools like the SAP Fiori Apps Library and SAP Web IDE for development.

Integration & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.
- Develop and support SAP interfaces using IDOCs RFCs and APIs.

Testing & Documentation:
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and contribute to knowledgesharing sessions.
- Suggest and implement system improvements or automation techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- 3 years of handson experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong understanding of S/4 HANA architecture and its technical enhancements.
- Experience with SAP HANA tools like CDS Views AMDP and Eclipsebased ABAP development.
- Proficiency in OData service creation and integration with Fiori applications.
- 3 years of handson experience in SAP ABAP development.
Domain Knowledge:
- Familiarity with SAP modules such as FI/CO MM SD PP or others.
- Good understanding of business processes and their integration in S/4 HANA.
- Familiarity with SAP modules such as FI/CO MM SD PP or others.
ProblemSolving & Communication:
- Strong analytical and debugging skills including usage of tools like SAP Debugger and Runtime Analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.

Certifications (Preferred):
- SAP ABAP Certification.
- S/4 HANA Technical Development Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Knowledge of SAP Workflow and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
