Job Description
We are seeking a System Engineer who will become a member of the project team whose goal is to create a new and unified Global Bill of Materials that is comprised of Engineering Bill of Materials and Manufacturing Bill of Materials.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with different teams/individuals to understand current Global Design Bill of Materials system and related servers.
- Document current system create system diagram showing connections/data exchange between several systems modules/servers.
- Provide the best solution for a new environment.
- Assist in creating and installing a new system.
- Configure server environment test and ensure all connections are working properly.
- Create maintain documentation and installation procedures.
- Coordinate with various departments of Honda for approval of the new system and
- infrastructure.
- Proactively ensure the highest level of system and infrastructure availability
- Understand integration between BOM CATIA and 3D Experience.
- Create Roadmap for current and future system.
Requirements and Skills:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or related subjects
- Minimum 5 years of solid working experience with BOM CATIA V5/V6 3D Experience server administration and understanding of Windows server operating system.
- Minimum 5 years of solid working experience with different IT teams such as Network Infrastructure Security/Authentication/Authorization
- Detailoriented thinking
- Ability to see a big picture.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
