Job Description

This is a remote position.

.

Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data accuracy integrity and security.

.

Create and maintain databases data dictionaries and data models for efficient data storage and retrieval.

.

Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and enrichment processes.

.

Monitor and improve data governance processes to ensure compliance with data regulations policies and standards.

.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify data requirements and develop data collection and storage processes.

.

Design and implement data validation and verification procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

.

Develop and maintain data documentation including data dictionaries data flow diagrams and data lineage.

.

Analyze data management systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.

.

Provide technical support and expertise to endusers regarding data management tools and systems.

.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data management and recommend innovative approaches to improve data management processes.

.

Liaise with client Oracle Fusion Cloud business resources to troubleshoot and resolve any assigned application functionality problems or queries.

.

Liaise with client Oracle Fusion Cloud project resources to implement any required data loads data fields reports forms dashboards and templates as required



Requirements

.


.

A minimum of four (4) years of experience working with data management governance or analytics roles.

.

Bachelors degree in computer science / information technology

.

Certification in Data Management / Data Science

.

Knowledge of government procurement practices financial and human resources operations and considerable experience in payroll practices would be considered assets.

.

Ability to understand Government workflows processes and approvals.

.

Knowledge of modern project management best practices and considerable experience in technical project delivery would be considered an asset.

Technical Skills: Expertise with databases (e.g. Oracle SQL Server MongoDB) data integration tools (e.g. Informatica Talend) and ETL processes (Extract Transform Load) for data migration and consolidation.

.

Data Quality Governance and Compliance: Proven ability to design and implement data governance policies data stewardship and information lifecycle management. Experience with regulations such as ATTIP HIPAA or CCPA to ensure data handling complies with federal and Territorial legal requirements.

.

Data Analytics & Reporting: Expertise with BI (Business Intelligence) tools like Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher Power BI Tableau or Qlik for reporting and data visualization. An understanding of statistical analysis tools like R or Python for data science roles.

Information Systems and Architecture: Experience in enterprise content management systems (e.g. SharePoint) or document management systems (e.g. OpenText) with a thorough understanding of metadata management and the ability to structure and classify information effectively.

.

Strong knowledge of data management principles methodologies and best practices.

.

Proficient in database management systems such as MySQL Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.

.

Experience with data analysis tools and languages such as SQL Python or R.

.

Familiarity with data modeling and metadata management concepts.

.

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.

.

Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.

.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

.

Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.

Liaise with GN s Oracle Fusion Cloud project resources to implement any required data loads, data fields, reports, forms, dashboards, and templates as required Ensure that data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all systems within the GN are maintained. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units to align data initiatives and solutions with organizational goals. Promote a dynamic work environment to support the constant evolution of data technologies and business needs.
