Were looking for an editor to join the French editorial team in our Berlin office. While your articles are created natively in French they will also be translated adapted and published by the global editorial team.
Tasks
- Reviewing devices (smartphones wearables and other smart devices) and apps in an authoritative yet accessible manner
- Writing updating and translating tutorials bestlists guides and other SEOsupported articles as well as news opinions and engaging content about tech
- Explaining technical subjects in a manner that is easy to understand
- Keeping up to date with new technologies brands and product release schedules
- Participation in editorial meetings and jour fixes to discuss topics and formats
- Work closely with the social media marketing and sales teams
- Support in the general maintenance of our websites
Requirements
- Enthusiasm motivation and curiosity
- Native speaker in French conversational level in English is a must. Additional languages are a plus.
- Interest and ideally experience in content management systems and SEO
- Strong communication skills ability to work in a team and proactive attitude
- Strong interest in the media industry and understanding of the latest trends in digital publishing
- Understanding of modern online journalism
- Enthusiasm for new topics and tasks
