Job Description
Solo Brands is looking for a Video Editor!
We are looking for an experienced video editor to manage inhouse production for a rapidly growing ecommerce company. This position will require a selfstarter who thrives in a fast paced highly collaborative environment. Will work directly with the Content Product Producer.
Key Duties and responsibilities:
- This is a collaborative position with the content team where you will have a hand in crafting both product and lifestyle stories visually.
- Edit shortform original programming cutdowns for distribution across social channels (IG FB TT) Broadcast (CTV) and internal.
- Meet tight deadlines and multitask various projects
- Manage and prioritize video/audio projects using time and resources efficiently
- Communicate and collaborate with a team of socialsavvy producers video editors and graphic designers
- Add creative flourishes beyond what is in the script for social videos
- Develop and maintain relevance in trending video techniques in industry.
- Work in a fastpaced environment that is reactive to lifestyle and culture.
- Help guide creative strategy on assigned social channels to continuously optimize our content.
- Collaborate artistically and creatively across various projects and campaigns.
Key Success Indicators
- 4 years professional video editing and production knowledge
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Premiere Photoshop After Effects and Audition.
- Highly skilled in video editing motion graphics and storytelling
- Ability to edit longform and shortform videos efficiently
- Strong audio editing skill set
- Strong ability to color correct and color grade
- Experience editing longform hosted video programming
- Experience crafting and understanding viral social media video content across TikTok Facebook Instagram Twitter and other social platforms
- Excellent digital media file management and attention to detail
- Strong sense of social media style geared toward a younger Millennial/Gen Z audience
- Experience in a fastpaced tight deadline production team work environment
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- You have a gritty & entrepreneurial attitude and are flexible to the alwayschanging nature of editing timelines and feedback
Education & Experience Requirements: - Languages: English 80%
- Experience: 4 years
