Job Description
The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive dashboards and reports that empower datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. The role involves using advanced analytical skills to transform complex data into actionable insights including data preparation analysis modeling and visualization. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the QualityofLife project by building reports developing dashboards creating data models and analyzing datasets.
- Administering the Power BI system ensuring efficient data reporting and visualization processes.
- Applying regression and association analysis to identify trends outliers and actionable insights.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Managing time effectively to handle multiple tasks and deadlines ensuring highquality ontime deliverables.
- Mentoring junior analysts offering guidance and fostering skill development within the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer serviceoriented mindset.
- A solid foundation in data analysis principles including regression and association analysis.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts data organization and visualization tools.
- Excellent time management organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- 5 years of experience with BI technologies data analytics and visualization.
- Expertise in Power BI ArcGIS StoryMaps Databricks Snowflake and Python.
- 1 year of experience administering Power BI Service Gateway and Capacity Administration.
- Familiarity with SQL programming and data cleaning techniques.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in an ITrelated field Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certification is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Remote position with a 4/40 work schedule (10hour days MondayThursday).
- Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft TEAMS.
- This position is open to California resident candidates only.
