Job Description

Profile: Area Sales Manager

Experience: 510 years in sales preferably in the FMCG sector.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and manage the sales operations within the designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth managing a team of sales professionals and ensuring that our products maintain a strong market presence. With a focus on customer satisfaction and market expansion the ASM will play a key role in advancing the companys sales objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

o Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

o Identify potential markets and drive expansion in the assigned territory.

o Execute promotional and sales campaigns effectively.

Team Leadership & Management:

o Lead coach and motivate a team of sales executives.

o Monitor team performance providing regular feedback and support.

o Ensure that the team meets or surpasses set targets.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

o Conduct market research to understand consumer demand and trends.

o Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to counter competition.

Customer Relationship Management:

o Build and sustain longterm relationships with distributors retailers and key clients.

o Address client issues and ensure prompt resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Analysis:

o Prepare regular sales reports analyzing key metrics and sales performance.

o Provide actionable insights and suggest improvements to the sales process.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in business Marketing or a related field.

Skills:

o Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills.

o Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

o Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

o Proficiency in using sales and CRM tools.

o Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
