Job Description
Position: CMM Programmer & Operator Aerospace
Location: Phoenix AZ
Full time
1st Shift: Monday Friday 6 am 2 pm
Saturdays as needed.
Overtime available.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Program and operate a Coordinating Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform inspection procedures with PCDMIS software
- Identify nonconformances based on inspections
- Verify nonconformances with mechanical inspection
- Determines acceptance or rejection of products based on requirements
- Completes all required documentation
- Handle multiple and changing priorities
- Respond to written and verbal instructions
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Promote a positive image of the Client
- Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Permanent Resident Card
- Able to understand geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings specifications and customer documents.
- Experience in surface plate layout and mechanical measuring tool use.
- Familiar with hand inspection tools (calipers micrometers etc.)
- Mechanical inspection experience
- 5 years minimum work experience programming and operating CMM and mechanical inspection equipment.
- Qualityoriented with a handson personality do it right the first time personality.
- Strong attention to detail organizational time management and followup skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to handle the walking lifting bending stair climbing and stooping required to perform the job
- Possess a high degree of initiative and be selfmotivated able to work with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Fulltime
Expected hours: 40 per week
