We are looking for a detailoriented Executive Assistant. In this role you will be instrumental in supporting senior DoD executives by managing schedules coordinating meetings and facilitating seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a dedicated administrative resource for senior DoD staff handling scheduling meeting preparation and task management.
- Use MS Excel to compile analyze and present data for various departmental reports and projects ensuring information is uptodate and accurately represented.
- Coordinate the logistics for meetings conferences and training sessions from scheduling to postevent followup.
- Manage travel logistics ensuring that itineraries and accommodation align with organizational requirements.
- Compile proofread and distribute various reports and documents maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Oversee administrative tasks related to information and physical security ensuring adherence to DoD protocols.
- Address moderately complex administrative issues by applying sound judgment and providing routine recommendations for efficiency improvements.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Work Schedule: 34 days/week onsite
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 45 years in administrative or executive support roles preferably in a DoD or government environment.
- Proficiency MSOffice Suite and other office automation tools to include MSWord PowerPoint Outlook AdobeDC MSExcel MSProject
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of DoD operations and protocols with experience supporting executives within this space.
