Hospital near Yellville AR is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for several departments including Labor & Delivery/OB Med/Surg and Critical Care and Outpatient Clinic. This location is surrounded by picturesque landscapes with the Ozark Mountains providing stunning views and ample opportunities for outdoor recreation such as hiking camping fishing and hunting. The Buffalo National River is nearby offering opportunities for kayaking canoeing and exploring scenic bluffs and waterfalls.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with procedures such as venipuncture tube feeding and suturing when necessary.
- Monitor patients vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Support patients with daily living activities including mobility assistance and memory care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
Hospital Shift/Schedule: Days and Nights available 12hr shifts
Clinic Shift/Schedule: MonFri 8am5pm (some clinics are closed or close early on Fridays)
Hospital/Acute Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience preferred but new graduates welcome
- Associate degree or higher
- Arkansas or Compact LPN license (or eligible)
- BLS certification
