Primary purpose of job
The role is responsible for leading the full life cycle management of business critical HIMS Shipping applications. This
includes the analysis design implementation and continuous improvement of applications to ensure they meet evolving
business needs. The role also involves managing applicationrelated projects from requirement gathering to deployment
and postimplementation support.
HIMS or Hydrocarbon Information Management System encompasses a highly integrated industryleading applications
portfolio that supports the critical functions of the LNG Value Chain. The HIMS Shipping solutions facilitate seamless
integration between the QatarEnergy Onshore team ships and operators enabling efficient management of the LNG fleet
and related functions.
Experience & Skills
- 8 years of extensive experience in IT applications analysis development and full life cycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage endtoend application projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with
- Proven expertise in developing customizing integrating and supporting business applications along with extensive
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues identify root causes and implement
- Proven expertise in adapting to changing business requirements and technological innovations while consistently
- Extensive experience in partnering with crossfunctional teams software vendors and business stakeholders to accurately
- Having prior working experience with shipping solutions particularly those utilized within the energy industry would be a
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills enabling effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams
Education
Bachelors degree in any of the following discipline(s) Computer Engineering Information Technology Information
Systems Computer Science.
