Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Cloudera Consultant.

Remote Visa: USC or Green Card

Need Cloudera Certification

Phase I: Recovery Environment (CDP Public Cloud on Microsoft Azure)

  • Assist Customer with completion PreRequisites:
  • Cloud credentials Configure IDP User onboarding Create Azure resources
  • Customer to open firewalls
  • Deploy/configure One (1) CDP Public Cloud environment
  • Configure Datalake and Datahubs
  • Open and verify firewalls for Replication Manager
  • Configure Cloudera Manager
  • Configure Replication Manager
  • Create Replication Manager policies
  • Migrate/Replicate Data (HDFS Hive HBase)
  • Import/Export Ranger policies to Cloud environment
  • Configure daily Snapshot for immutable data capture:
  • ADLS Gen2 Data o HMS Atlas Ranger or HBase
  • Validation & Testing
  • Documentation

Phase II: Data Restore

  • Perform discovery and scoping session to create architecture solutions to complete a Data Restore from Public Cloud environment
  • Create a Data Restore Plan in Azure environment
  • Enable data snapshot in the Azure native service
  • ADLS Gen2 Data o Enable metadata snapshot
  • HDFS Hive HBase Ranger
  • Copy the backup to identified immutable location
  • Create Script(s) for metadata snapshot: Create Cloudera backup command script
  • Create DISTCP jobs for data copy from ADLS if necessary
  • Validation & Testing
