Job Description
Job Summary: The Director Imaging Demo/Test System will oversee the development implementation and maintenance of our hardware and embedded software demo and test systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of both hardware and embedded software technologies excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive crossfunctional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the hardware and embedded software engineering teams.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for hardware and embedded software development.
- Oversee the design development and testing of new hardware and embedded software systems. This include board design board layout FPGA development and embedded software on 3rd party ECUs or microprocessors on FPGAs.
- Manage budgets timelines and resources for projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to align project schedules with product schedules and business needs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies including highspeed interfaces like MIPI SLVSEC SERDES links and Ethernet.
- Mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 15 years of experience in hardware and embedded software development.
- Proven experience in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software integration.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including working in international companies.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- This role is based in Bangalore India.
