Job Description
Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Hazelwood MO (Remote)
Job Type: Contract Long Term
The primary role of an IT Project Manager is to oversee and ensure the successful application of project management methodologies across all phases of a projects lifecycle. This includes managing project design scope budget timelines resources and quality while ensuring deliverables meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop track and manage project budgets plans timelines and scope.
- Oversee project resources including staffing motivating coaching and advising team members.
- Collaborate with functional project teams to define business requirements.
- Lead developer teams to deliver highquality software solutions that meet business objectives.
- Define and implement test plans to ensure products are defectfree before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Facilitate UAT processes including developing rollout plans and procedures.
- Prepare and present costbenefit analyses to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to systems development and project management processes.
- Deliver presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
Required Skills
- People Management: Strong skills in team building motivation and leadership.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Business Acumen: Quick understanding of business processes and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different organizational levels.
- Risk Management: Strong ability to assess risks and apply management principles to technological applications products and business functions.
- Technology Delivery: Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in largescale multiplatform environments.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field (required).
- MBA or other advanced degrees (preferred).
Certifications:
- PMP or PMI certification.
Experience:
7 10 years of proven project management experience in technology and business application delivery.
