Are you a driven and technicallysavvy project leader looking for an opportunity to make a real impact We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to spearhead the planning execution and delivery of ground breaking embedded software projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in embedded systems coupled with proven project management skills and thrive in a fastpaced startup atmosphere. - Project Management:
- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of embedded software projects from initial planning and execution to final delivery and postlaunch support.
- Create maintain and own project timelines ensuring projects meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Coordinate crossfunctional teams including software engineers hardware experts QA testers and external partners fostering seamless collaboration.
- Employ agile project management methodologies to adapt swiftly to evolving requirements and maintain flexibility.
- Technical Leadership:
- Collaborate with technical teams to define project scope technical requirements and align resources effectively.
- Provide handson guidance and oversight to ensure the technical viability of project solutions addressing any technical obstacles.
- Act as a bridge between the development team and customers ensuring alignment between technical deliverables and business needs.
- Take full ownership of projects driving handson technical direction when necessary and keeping the team motivated and focused on shared goals.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders ensuring regular transparent communication regarding project status risks and deliverables.
- Identify potential challenges early on and provide creative effective solutions to mitigate project risks.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by aligning project goals with business objectives ensuring everyone remains on the same page.
- Adaptability in a Startup Environment:
- Adopt a handson problemsolving attitude to tackle challenges in a fastgrowing startup environment.
- Be comfortable wearing multiple hats whether its defining new processes mentoring team members or diving into technical details.
- Drive process improvement initiatives contribute to scaling up project management practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Lead from the front take initiative without waiting for direction act decisively and handle challenges independently to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in project management specifically in software development or embedded systems.
- Deep technical understanding of embedded software Linux Yocto or similar environments.
- Proven experience thriving in a startup environment with a knack for taking initiative and navigating uncertainties.
- Expertise in agile project management methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA or similar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across crossfunctional and international teams.
- PMP or Scrum Master Certification is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with automotive consumer electronics or medical device industries is highly desirable.
