About the role:
The Manager will oversee the growth of digital fundraising and community engagement programs to support the financial goals of Bhumi. The Manager will provide coordinated leadership for retail fundraising and engagement activities developing and implementing marketing strategies to support fundraising across the organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Grow retail fundraising by acquiring new donors and engage existing donors to grow their support and contributions
- Engage with volunteers to educate and inspire them to fundraise for the organisation.
- Manage relationships with online fundraising platforms
- Help craft compelling stories that connect Bhumi s impact with donor passions transforming data and program insights into engaging narratives.
- Oversee donor operations including receipts and communications
Educational Qualification/Experience:
- At least five years of digital marketing sales or fundraising experience
- Experience working with volunteers & in the development sector would be an advantage.
Knowledge & Skill sets required:
- Reasonable understanding of the nonprofit sector and donor management
- A strong hold on online fundraising and fundraising trends
- Proficient in using CRM software and fundraising platforms.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders including donors staff and volunteers
- Skilled at creating donorcentric impactful stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly resourceful teamplayer with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Forward looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
