Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in managing Palo Alto firewalls Prisma Access and Panorama solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network security principles handson expertise in Palo Altos security technologies and a proven track record of designing and implementing robust security architectures.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills effective communication abilities and the capability to work independently or as part of a team. The candidate will also play a key role in managing security incidents maintaining policies and contributing to ongoing projects and change management processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Palo Alto Product Management
   

   • Oversee the configuration and management of Palo Alto firewalls Panorama and Prisma Access via Strata Cloud.
     
   • Maintain and optimize security features including DNS security decryption and nextgeneration firewall capabilities.
     

2. Network and Security Architecture
   

   • Design implement and support comprehensive network and security solutions.
     
   • Develop and manage security policies templates and log collection within Panorama.
     

3. Troubleshooting and Support
   

   • Diagnose and resolve firewallrelated issues including GlobalProtect VPN connectivity application slowness and rule management.
     
   • Work on routing and switching products adjacent to Palo Alto appliances to ensure seamless integration.
     

4. Incident and Change Management
   

   • Manage Incidents Requests and Change tickets in ServiceNow.
     
   • Ensure compliance with service level agreements and established processes.
     

5. Documentation and Reporting
   

   • Create and maintain technical documentation including architectural designs and troubleshooting guides.
     
   • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders showcasing analytical findings and solutions.
     

6. Collaboration and Project Work
   

   • Contribute to crossfunctional project work ensuring timely delivery and highquality outcomes.
     
   • Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and improve operational efficiency.
     

Qualifications

• Experience:
  

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing Palo Alto firewalls Prisma Access and Panorama.
    
  • Handson experience with firewall VPN rule and policy management.
    
  • Practical knowledge of routing and switching products and network integration.
    

• Skills:
  

  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
    
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for network security appliances and features.
    
  • Proficiency in drafting and structuring technical documentation.
    
  • Strong analytical abilities for resolving complex issues systematically.
    

• Tools & Technologies:
  

  • Experience with DNS security Prisma Gateway and security policies.
    
  • Familiarity with GlobalProtect and advanced firewall features.
    
  • ServiceNow for incident and change management.
    

• Certifications:
  

  • PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).
    
  • PCCSE (Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer).
