Job Title: Lead AI Developer AI Contract Reader

Location: Remote

Position Overview: We’re seeking a Lead AI Developer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and contract analysis to spearhead the development of our AI contract reader. This individual will be responsible for creating the core language model for this tool leading a dedicated team and continually optimizing the product to align with evolving industry standards. This role is integral to our product’s success and will report directly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Development: Architect and implement a proprietary AI language model focused on contract interpretation and analysis enabling athletes to efficiently manage brand deals.
  • Build and Manage a Team: Recruit lead and mentor a team of AI and NLP experts ensuring effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Research and Development: Stay abreast of industry advancements in NLP and AI to implement cuttingedge techniques for contract comprehension and extraction of key data points.
  • Continuous Optimization: Iterate on the contract reader to improve accuracy adaptability and user experience based on feedback and data.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with product design and engineering teams to integrate and align the contract reader with the broader platform.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing AI language models from scratch with a focus on NLP and contract interpretation.
  • Deep understanding of contract analysis and legal language structures.
  • Expertise in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms model evaluation and optimization.
  • Experience in building and managing technical teams including recruiting and onboarding new talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence or related field.
  • Familiarity with AI applications in sports or brand management.
  • Experience in a startup or agile environment comfortable with rapid iteration and crossdepartmental collaboration.
