Our client specializes in providing flexible car leasing solutions for rideshare drivers ensuring they have the vehicles they need to succeed on platforms like Uber and Lyft.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to manage our accounting and financial
operations. The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping expertise familiarity with U.S. business practices and proficiency in QuickBooks. This role will involve financial reporting analysis and integrating our bookkeeping with loan servicing systems.

operations. The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping expertise familiarity with U.S. business practices and proficiency in QuickBooks. This role will involve financial reporting analysis and integrating our bookkeeping with loan servicing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Handle all accounting functions including accounts payable reconciliations and journal entries.
- Produce accurate financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with external CPAs to manage tax compliance and filings.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze the lending business and performance of the portfolio.
- Translate reports from loan servicing systems into QuickBooks.
- Assist with the integration of bookkeeping with loan services and other platforms.
- Support the project of converting loan origination processes into a new system.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing and related entries.
- Set up ACHs and wires as needed.
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred. Will accept
- equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar bookkeeping role.
- Expert proficiency in both desktop and online QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Familiarity with U.S. tax regulations and business practices is highly preferred.
- Experience integrating bookkeeping with loan servicing systems.
- Ability to travel to New York as needed; U.S. visa eligibility is a significant plus.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
