Job Description: Structural Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems and components for various projects.
- Utilize Revit Tekla and AutoCAD software for drafting and modeling structural designs.
- Collaborate with architects contractors and other engineering disciplines.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance.
- Prepare specifications reports and documentation for projects.
- Ensure projects meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in structural engineering is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and teamoriented environment.
- This is a midsized firm so it's imperative that this candidate is willing to handle a wide range of tasks including modeling detailing great communication skills. There could be time spent both in the field and in the office.
Desired Experience
- Experience with a variety of structural engineering projects
- Prior experience mentoring or leading a team is a plus.
- Familiarity with current building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in Revit Tekla and AutoCAD software is ideal.
- Ideally have heavy structures rebar detailing construction management and steel detailing background
