Job Description

LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA REGION

Position : Onboarding Coordinator

Work Hours : 8am5pm following Mountain Time
Holidays : US Holidays
Salary Range : USD(to be assessed and approved by the client based on the candidate’s experience knowledge skills and abilities)

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Offer Management and PreStart Communication (40%)
Responsible for coordinating postoffer tasks such as sending offer documentation completing background checks and addressing candidate queries. Ensures proactive communication with new hires to keep them engaged and informed before their start date.

2. Onboarding Preparation and Documentation (30%)
Collaborates with teams like IT and Procurement to ensure new hires have all necessary equipment. Prepares and distributes onboarding schedules while ensuring preemployment paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

3. Collaboration and Process Improvement (20%)
Works with the Recruiting Coordinator and hiring managers to create personalized onboarding plans. Continuously gathers feedback to enhance the onboarding process and supports recruiting efforts when needed.

4. Metrics and Reporting (10%)
Tracks and reports onboarding metrics to monitor progress ensure consistency and recommend improvements to optimize the onboarding experience.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field is preferred but equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a support or coordinator role within HR or recruitment with a focus on creating a positive new hire experience and managing relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple processes and logistics for smooth onboarding. Experience in fastpaced environments handling multiple roles and meeting recruitment deadlines is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) with UKG Pro experience preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with virtual onboarding tools video conferencing and digital document management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities capable of building strong relationships with new hires and internal teams. Highly organized and detailoriented with a proactive and collaborative approach. Adaptable and eager to innovate in onboarding processes to support a diverse workforce
