Job Objective
To work on Ingenium (Policy administration system) and make changes and enhancements as requested by Business users.
Hands on Ingenium product Setup
Actively participate in requirement gathering gap analysis and feasibility study prepare functional requirement/Design document coordination and walk thru with developers/business users testing and implementing the changes in the system.
Liaison with Business users and internal development team to understand requirements and translate into technical/design documents.
Identify develop and execute continuous improvement opportunities
Review delivered solutions for quality and accuracy
Develops detailed implementation project plan in conjunction with other team members
Perform Sanity testing for key projects and critical enhancements
Provides input on Insurance processes procedures and new approaches
Audit Team Process and Procedure documents
Apply Industry best Business analyst practices

Responsible for Requirement elicitation and Gap Analysis.
Collaborate with end users business & technology teams provide clarifications and bridge the gap.
Implement advanced strategies for gathering reviewing and analyzing requirements
Making project assumptions and preparing Functional Requirement Documentation.
Planning and Monitoring the Change request raised by different business users function
Providing walkthroughs to Business users Development and testing team during the Project progress.
Closely working with the Quality Assurance team while testing in progress.
Support end users during the acceptance process and responsible for migration activities.
Ensuring the smooth handover to maintenance team post production movements
Responsible for guiding other IT application teams due to changes in the Core and work flow applications.

Roles
Worked in Indian Insurance Industry
Good knowledge of Ingenium (front end/backend) at least more than 10 year experience or experience with Life insurance policy administration system and Insurance Workflow application
Thorough understanding of Insurance business processes.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Strong SQL skills with Good understanding of database structures.
Preferably Insurance certifications from Organisations like LOMA/III
Experience in dealing with cross functional teams and ability to coordinate across teams in large organisation environment.
Familiar with Agile framework
Exposure to JIRA will be an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present requirements in manner appropriate
